About Crowthorne Rugby Club

Crowthorne RFC is more than a rugby club—it’s a community built on teamwork, respect and a shared love of the game. We welcome players, coaches, volunteers and supporters of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, creating an environment where everyone can feel part of the club.

Our rugby pathway begins with the Hatchlings, launched in 2025 for children in Reception to Year 4. Through fun, engaging sessions, our youngest players develop confidence, teamwork and a love of rugby before progressing through the club as they grow.

Our senior section includes the Crows, our Men’s team, and the Thorns, our Women’s team, who train throughout the week and compete at weekends. Whether you’re new to rugby or returning to the game, there’s a place for you here.

Everything we do is guided by the RFU core values of teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship. While we love to compete on the pitch, we’re equally proud of the friendships built afterwards, whether over food, a drink or one of our many social events.

Set in the heart of Crowthorne, our clubhouse and pitches provide a welcoming home for members and visitors alike. We simply ask everyone who visits to respect our facilities, our neighbours and the beautiful surroundings that make our club so special. We’re proud to partner with FutureGen Sport, whose expertise in coaching, player development and community sport helps us create even more opportunities for players, coaches and volunteers to learn, improve and enjoy rugby.

At Crowthorne RFC, we don’t just build rugby players—we build friendships, create memories and welcome people into a community they’ll always be part of. We don’t say “goodbye”; we say “Until next time.”
