I love rugby, but you can play rugby anywhere. What you can’t always find is a group of incredible women who you want to play for on the pitch, work hard with at training, and party with at the weekend.
As with many of the other girls, I was brought along by a friend, and have developed some of the most incredible friendships at the club.
For me Crowthorne also played a really important role in becoming confident in my sexuality. I came out shortly before joining, and felt quite ashamed of being gay. There weren’t many other LGBT people at the club, but the level of acceptance blew my mind and was really one of the major stepping stones in becoming completely comfortable with myself. Thank you Crowthorne!
